§ 39-741. Motorized bicycles—Requirements.
(a)
No person shall operate a motorized bicycle on any highway or street located within this city unless he has a valid license to operate a motor vehicle.
(b)
No motorized bicycle may be operated on any public thoroughfare located within this city which has been designated as part of the federal interstate highway system.
(c)
No motorized bicycle may be operated on any sidewalk, recreation trail or walking path located within this city.
(d)
No person shall operate a motorized bicycle without wearing a valid and approved helmet in the same manner as required of riders of motorcycles under the laws of the State of Missouri.
(e)
No person operating a motorized bicycle may carry any passengers.
