§ 39-743. Inspection stations, certificates of inspection and approval.
(a)
No person shall represent in any manner any place as an official inspection station unless the station is operated under a valid permit issued by the superintendent of the state highway patrol.
(b)
No person, unless then holding a valid permit, shall issue a certificate of inspection and approval, sticker, seal or other device.
(c)
No person shall make, issue or knowingly use any imitation or counterfeit of an official certificate of inspection, sticker, seal or other device.
(d)
No person shall display or cause or permit to be displayed upon any vehicle any certificate of inspection and approval, sticker, seal or other device knowing the same to be fictitious or issued for another vehicle or issued without an inspection having been made.
