§ 37-5. Applications for license—Contents.

Any person seeking a license required by section 37-3 shall file with the city clerk or the board of aldermen, an application for such license, which application shall state classification of the license sought to be obtained, the nature of the license, place of location in the city in which the license shall be effective; where the business shall be conducted, and if the application is for a license to carry on or conduct a business or vocation, the license shall briefly describe the nature of the business setting forth the kind of merchandise to be sold or the nature of the business, vocation or service to be rendered by the applicant for the license.
