§ 15-11. Record of interment.

  • The city clerk shall keep a record of each burial in a well-bound book to be kept for that purpose. Such records shall be made within ten (10) days after the interment, and the clerk shall record the name of the deceased person, the date of interment, the age or date of birth, the date of death, and the number of the lot and the exact place in the lot, if the lot shall be more than a one-grave lot, of such person interred. The city sexton shall give to the city clerk all information necessary to compile or complete such record.
